Information received from Iain Bramley (son of Sgt W J Bramley)
Dad's RAF record shows him as being posted to 49 Squadron on 7 July 1942 from 61 Squadron. From the Squadron Operations Record Book held at The National Archives, it shows his first mission as being on 15 August 1942 to bomb Dusseldorf in Lancaster W4113, with Sgt Gould as pilot. Dad's last mission was on 28 Feb/1 March 1943 on a bombing mission to St Nazaire in Lancaster ED 435, with Sgt Stables as pilot. On 16 April 1943, dad was posted to 19 OTU after having completed his tour of operations.

While part of the Squadron, my father married my mother on the 9th of October 1942 and I have enclosed a copy of them taken on their wedding day.
My dad finished the war as a Flight Lieutenant.

The third photograph I have enclosed is a copy of some of the aircrew that
dad flew with and I was told that it was of the crew of 'Q' Queenie which
crashed when returning from Hamburg on 31 January 1943. I understood from
my dad that he was not flying that night due to a severe head cold. I was
wondering if you are any of your members might be able to put names to the
faces of the people in the photograph at all. If it is some of the crew of
'Q' Queenie (ED 428) then on the far left end is F/O Frank Ridley
(Navigator) and on the far right end is F/Sgt Elliott Cole (Pilot), but I
have no idea who the two in the middle are. Having said this, the pilot may
be F/Sgt Gould after looking at his photo on your website.

The image below is a message from the crew of "Q" Queenie to Mr Mrs William Bramley on the ocassion of their wedding. The six christian names included are currently "under investigation".
We believe that the airmen (from left to right) are P/O Frank Ridley, either Sgts Larry Grey or Jimmy Browne and Sgt pilot Rod Gould.

The names are believed to be Rod Gould, Larry Grey, Frank Ridley, Unknown, either Gerry Phillips or Gerry Acker and Jimmy Browne
