The final graves have now been photographed. P/O Baker and F/O Tyrrell from the two accidents in 1938. Unless other losses are discovered then the project to photograph all the headstones is now complete.
A photographic update of the new Bomber Command Memorial and reference to the 49Sqn Victoria Cross has been added.

Sadly, the grave of Sgt Davies has been completely forgotten as you can see from the photographs. Our thanks go to the staff of St Woolos and Morriston Cemeteries for their assistance.

Information has been received from the family of Robert Kerr Drinnan who died this July. F/Sgt Drinnan was shot down and became a PoW following a raid on Kassel in October 1943.

Wing Commander Alan Newitt, CO of 49 Squadron in the early 1950s recently died in Jersey.
In this document he recalls two highly entertaining stories of an eccentric 'one handed' pilot with a passion for dropping hand grenades out of the cockpit and the story of an irate rhino escaping a bombing raid of Mau Mau hideouts.
